The Team Behind the Platform
NSiS is led by three co-founders with extensive expertise and experience across the critical functions required to bring medicines from research and development through approval and launch, including research, GMP and quality, clinical development, regulatory affairs and safety, and intellectual property and legal affairs.
NSiS’s three co-founders played key leadership roles in establishing and building Gilead Sciences Japan and its cell therapy business, bringing numerous medicines through approval and launch. Their track record includes helping deliver hepatitis C therapies to approximately 170,000 patients, supplying COVID-19 treatment to more than one million patients, and introducing CAR-T cell therapy across 75 treatment centers nationwide—experience that spans the entire journey from R&D and regulatory approval to implementation in clinical practice.
This proven ability to translate outstanding science into medicines and ultimately into clinical practice is a key competitive advantage for NSiS.

The Network Behind the Platform
Advancing the Fully Human Protein Platform into new therapeutic modalities requires more than NSiS’s technology alone. Collaboration with leading experts across cutting-edge research, product evaluation, regulatory science, and other specialized fields is essential.
With the National Cancer Center Japan serving as its core R&D base, NSiS is building on its research network with Nagasaki University and planning future collaboration with Kyoto University. Through these academic and research partnerships, NSiS aims to further advance the Fully Human Protein Platform and strengthen its capabilities in product evaluation, infectious disease research, data science, and regulatory science.
By combining NSiS’s proprietary platform and experienced leadership with specialized expertise from leading academic and research institutions, NSiS is building the foundation to translate outstanding science into new therapeutic modalities and ultimately bring them to patients.
